In this web-based session, facilitators Marty Perry and Megan Daschbach will introduce you to the benefits of using Process Oriented Guided Inquiry Learning in your classroom.  Perry, Associate Professor of Chemistry at St. Louis College of Pharmacy (MO), and Daschbach, Senior Lecturer and Director of the Chemistry Peer-Led Team-Learning Program at Washington University in St. Louis (MO), will introduce you to:

  • the roles used in POGIL classrooms
  • the Learning Cycle and how it applies to POGIL activities
  • the process skills students develop in a POGIL classroom
Registration for this event is limited to 28 people.  Registrants will be sent a Zoom meeting invitation approximately 1 week prior to the webinar.  Please note that the session begins at 6:30 PM Eastern Time.  The session is scheduled for 1 hour but the facilitators will remain available to answer questions at the completion of the session.

Cancellation Policy:  Should you need to cancel your registration, please contact Julie Boldizar at julie.boldizar@pogil.org.  Registered participants who cancel by February 5, 2019 will receive a refund minus a $5 administrative fee.  No refunds will be given for cancellations received after February 5, 2019.
