In this web-based session, facilitators Teresa Bixby (Lewis University - Romeoville, IL) and Urik Halliday (Von Steuben Metropolitan Science Center - Chicago, IL) will provide strategies for addressing non-compliant students in the POGIL classroom. By the end of the session, participants will be able to:

identify common non-compliant behaviors that affect learning in POGIL classrooms
describe attempted solutions to the non-compliant actions and behaviors
compare and contrast attempted solutions
construct practical strategies to adjust the behaviors of non-compliant students

NOTE: Participants will need to be able to access Google Drive during the event.

Registration for this event is limited to 30 people. Registrants will be sent a Zoom meeting invitation approximately 1 week prior to the webinar.

Please note that the session begins at 7:00 PM Eastern Time. The session is scheduled for 60 minutes but the facilitators will remain available to answer questions at the completion of the session.

Registered participants who cancel by October 17, 2019 will receive a refund minus a $5 administrative fee. No refunds will be given for cancellations received after October 17, 2019.
