Registration for the VIRTUAL 2023 Writers' Retreat is only for those applicants who were accepted into the retreat.
Workshop Description: The 2023 VIRTUAL POGIL Writers' Retreat will provide an opportunity for individuals or small teams to spend focused time on developing, writing, and improving POGIL activities with the mentorship of experienced POGIL author coaches. The 4-day agenda (plus a 2-hour orientation) includes workshop sessions focused on activity authoring, feedback sessions, and ample time for writing and interacting with other authors and author coaches.
When: The workshop will begin with an orientation on Sunday, July 23 from 4:30-6:00 pm Eastern Time. The workshop will continue on Monday, July 24 through Thursday, July 21 ending at 4:30 PM Eastern Time.
Where: VIRTUAL via Zoom. Two weeks prior to the workshop, you will receive an email with instructions on how to connect to this virtual workshop.
Registration Fee: $520 which includes registration and all workshop materials.
Materials: A packet of materials will be sent to you in advance of the workshop to the address that you provide during registration. If you are located outside of North America, you will be receiving your materials electronically.
Technical Specifications: To participate in this virtual experience, you will need to connect to Zoom via a computer or laptop with video and microphone/sound capabilities.
