What are POGIL Pop-Ins?
POGIL Pop-Ins are conversations for early practitioners who are starting to implement the POGIL approach in their classrooms.
Who are POGIL Pop-Ins for?
If you’re brand new to POGIL and interested in getting started, welcome! If you’re experienced and want to share and listen, welcome! If you’re somewhere in between, welcome!
When are the POGIL Pop-Ins?
Five Pop-Ins have been scheduled for the spring of 2025. The sessions are open to anyone. Each session will have its own registration. You do not need to attend the first session to attend others. The sessions will run in duplicate at 6-7 PM Eastern and at 9-10 PM Eastern.
How are POGIL Pop-Ins structured?
Each hour-long Pop-In session will begin by identifying discussion topics and then opening breakout rooms for targeted discussions. Experienced practitioners will facilitate the breakout rooms. Practitioners will be able to move from room to room as the conversation evolves. One break in the middle of the session will allow for a change of topics or introduction of new ones.
